Mai Ma’asina Green Belt Joins MECDM and Stakeholders for Dialogue on Environmental Conservation in the Solomon Islands
Mai Ma’asina Green Belt (MMGB) expresses their gratitude to the Ministry of Environment Climate Change Disaster Management and Meteorology (MECDM) for the opportunity to participate in a Dialogue/Discussion with various stakeholders in the field of forest conservation, natural resource management, protected areas and payment of ecosystem services. The event provided a platform for stakeholders to share their experiences, learn from each other, and provide updates on their current and planned activities.
During the dialogue, MMGB representatives Brenda Wasiraro and Andrew Taraha had the opportunity to share their organization’s past projects, ongoing activities and planned initiatives for 2023. MMGB is committed to contributing to the communities they serve, and to ensuring the sustainability of the natural resources in the Solomon Islands.
