The MAI MA’ASINA GREEN BELT (MMGB) is a non-profit organization that advocates for intact forest management, wildlife protection, and cultural preservation in the Southern region of Malaita Province, Solomon Islands. We aim to create a network of communities and collaborate with local government and international organizations to address conservation and climate change issues.
We identified three strategic management goals that include biodiversity conservation and sustainable use of resources, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and cultural preservation and community development. MMGB has developed action plans and proposed activities to address these goals and protect the environment.
